Journey of our Faith/ Mystagogy
Journey in Our Faith; Mystagogy! Mystagogy is a Greek Word meaning "mystery" . In the Early Church, the newly Confirmed Catholics, confirmed at Easter Vigil would use the 50 days from Easter to Pentecost to explain the mystery of the Sacraments received at Easter. St James opens that to every Catholic, no matter where you are in your personal journey of Faith. We are using that period of time to investigate what Jesus might be personally calling each of us to do for His Church. Each week we will have a representative from a different ministry joining us to introduce what they do and to see how you might fit and help and to use the Gifts God gave you!
Special Thank you to The Legion of Mary, our St Vincent de Paul Society, Tina McCann who spoke about the music ministry at St James, and The Women's' prayer Group who spike to us this weekend about their wonderful ministry. Join us this Sunday as Deacon Jim will be with us to talk about the Eucharistic Ministers and Reader Ministry.
11:15AM (after the 10:00 AM Mass) in the William Room every Sunday as we try to comprehend the Pascal Mystery and our own personal calling to Christ!
